A Profile of Revival Time Ministry
Revival Time Ministry (RTM) is looking for Christian partners to help carry their load financially
and in prayer.
They already do many things, as you'll see here, but have a vision to provide a vocational school
for girls in Uganda. Especially for about 15 - 25 girls who have AIDS or are HIV positive -
unemployed - and/or single parents. They need to acquire survival skills such as tailoring,
carpentry, cooking, etc.
They have five acres of land for this vocational school, but need funding to proceed.
Other Areas of Ministry
Twice a year they run Discipleship Schools in local churches for 19 weeks each.

Secondary school students are evangelized through HIV/AIDS awareness programs.

Iliterate village women are taught functional literacy, and household income generation.

Internally displaced people in camps are brought food aid. The gospel is also preached.

Pastors are trained, and teams sent out to evangelize.
Conferences are held around the country of Uganda.
Who is RTM? What are their values?
Revival Time Ministry is an indigenous, interdenominational, registered
non-governmental ministry, organized in 1983. Their head office is in Soroti, with a regional office
in Jinja.
Their calling is discipleship and evangelism, but given the social state of Uganda, it is
impossible not to get involved in practical ways.
Values:
Walking in righteousness.
Trusting God in everything.
Serving Sacrifically.
Being radically obedient to God's direction.
Over the past eleven years they have made an impact on north and eastern Uganda, and have trained
over 200 church leaders. Through evangelistic outreach programs they have brought 27,800 souls to
the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! Praise God!
Special Projects
Teso Women Literacy project.
Teso Womens Loan scheme.
Bugoi Primary School.
Relief and Resettlement of displaced persons
In 1997 RTM began working with groups of woman in Wera and Abarillela (sub-countries in Katakwi
District), to give them the power of literacy and earning an income. They created a revolving loan
fund, which has a 95% recovery rate.
Now there is an urgent need to extend such activities to the Kaberamaido District too.
Because girls are very much de-valued in the Ugandan culture, they are especially susceptible to
illteracy, abuse and exploitation. RTM identifies these needy children for assistance in survival
skills, Christian discipleship and general support. Very much, RTM would like some strong financial
support to carry out this special ministry.
All the while RTM is carrying out the above projects, they are also focused on reaching adults and
children with the gospel of salvation to be had only through Jesus Christ. This includes work in
secondary schools, discipleship seminars for home groups, and conferences for all believers, but
with special emphasis on training more leaders for both rural and urban churches, and presenting
the gospel wherever possible, even going from door to door.
Meet Those Who are RTM
Revival Time Ministry began in 1993 in Soroti, Uganda. God spoke to Pastor Oyako to strengthen the
weak and uphold those who are suffering (Prov. 24:11). The Board of Trustees was formed and the
organization was duly registered by Government of Uganda as non-profit Christian organization
operating in the areas of Evangelism, discipleship and social development projects.
The Founders are:
Pastor Isaac Peter Oyako
His wife Christine Oyako
Rev. Edward Etanu Okiror, Social Co-coordinator
Rev. Etochu Emmanuel, Board of Trustees Chairman
There is a Board of nine members in place to give guidance and leadership.
A staff of seven runs the day-to-day activity of the ministry.

Board of Trustees has one Baptist, 2 Anglicans and the rest are Pentecostals of differing local
churches.
The staff are all Pentecostals, but of different local churches.

As of the middle of 2006 they are in financial crisis! We would urge you to check out the following

Their Current Budget calls for $38,000 US this year.

They have already accomplished much good with their Relief Aid for Obalanga IDPs, their
Discipleship School programs, and their literacy and income generation for eight different women's
